Buy Amoxil 500mg pills
What is Amoxil?
Amoxil is a penicillin-like antibiotic medication available on prescription and containing amoxicillin as its active compound. Given that amoxicillin is an antibiotic, it’s important to understand that it only affects bacteria and, therefore, can’t be used to fight a viral infection.
The drug can be obtained in different forms including oral suspension, capsules, tablets, and a solution for intravenous use. The capsules are pink with a blue cap and come in 250 and 500 mg strengths. Amoxil film-coated tablets are also pink and contain 500 or 875 mg of the active ingredient per tablet. Amoxil powder, in its turn, comes in a wider variety of dosages including 125, 200, 250, or 400 mg of amoxicillin per 5ml.
Uses of Amoxil
The medicine is primarily used for treating bacterial infections of the ear, nose, and throat (otitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, etc.). It is also commonly prescribed as a treatment for urinary tract infections, skin infections (including those caused by bacillus anthrax), or infections localized in the respiratory tract such as pneumonia. In plus, it’s used for curing stomach ulcers, as a part of the triple therapy for H. pylori.
The recommended dose for light to moderate infections is 500 mg taken twice a day for around 2 weeks. Severe infections require a higher dose, so your doctor may recommend you to increase the intake to 875 mg twice a day.
Amoxil Allergy and Side Effects
If the patient has a history of allergic reaction to penicillin antibiotics such as penicillin itself, ticarcillin or ampicillin, then Amoxil should be avoided. If there are signs of such a reaction – shortness of breath, rashes, swelling of the face – medical assistance must be sought immediately.
A severe skin reaction is unlikely but also possible – that would cause pain, burning eyes, and peeling of the epidermis. A doctor should be seen if the patient notices watery or bloody diarrhea, combined with a stomachache.
Pregnant women must have a medical examination before using Amoxicillin in order to evaluate the potential risks and benefits of therapy with this drug.
Common side effects of Amoxil include:
- Dizziness
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
Serious, although rare complications may include:
- Hematuria
- Inflammation of the gums
- Nosebleed
- Angina or chest tightness
- Fever and/or chills
- Clay-colored stools

Comments:
I almost always catch a cold in winter. Sometimes it will get pretty bad and turn into bronchitis. It happened recently too, as I had some complications such as really high fever and horrible body aches. My doctor prescribed me Amoxicillin and after a few days, I started feeling much better. At the end of my treatment, I was nearly back to normal. I have never had any adverse effects so I would personally recommend Amoxil for treating bronchitis.

My immune system is not working properly, so I got pneumonia this year. The doctor initially prescribed me Levaquin, but I noticed hives around my lips and on my neck shortly after I took the first pill, so I had to quit it immediately. After that, they shifted me to Amoxil 875 mg and I started feeling better almost immediately. I’m in my second week of treatment and my pneumonia is gone. The only side effect I experienced was diarrhea, but that was easy to fix with probiotics.
